The Club offers a bistro style casual dining experience in the bar areas of the Club. Members can book tables in advance by using the Club’s membership App, or by clicking the reservations button. In addition to our published menus, we also offer daily specials, please check the specials boards in the bars for the day’s offerings when you next visit.
Private dining, with table service, is available in our function rooms, for which there is an additional room hire charge.
The Club is the perfect venue for banqueting whether for a sit-down meal or a less formal buffet.
The largest room is the main dining room which can accommodates up to 70 people in at theatre-style set up. For more relaxed affairs such as finger buffets or receptions, our spaces can host a maximum of 100 guests. For a sit-down meal or a classroom-style arrangement, the maximum capacity is 65 people. Additionally, there is an adjacent fully stocked bar available for use during meetings/functions.

Lovely food and great service. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the Manager Paul is very accommodating. Were looking forward to our next stay just love the central location.

Can't fault the Club's service. Paul Taylor went out of his way on a very busy afternoon to make sure that our small party had a table and sufficient chairs when we were asked to move to accommodate a larger booking..

The club was very busy but the staff were still very attentive. Christmas lunch was very good.
Enjoyable experience
I re-arranged the date to 9 December due to the rail strikes. A pre-Christmas get-together for myself and some former MOD apprentices. For most it was their first visit to the CSC and they aware all very impressed practically with the food (both quality and quantity) and the range of beers. I believe that most will be applying for membership.

We did wait rather a long time for the main meal. Because one person was late and had soup people who had not had a starter were very hungry. So that did not help.

Thank you for an excellent time at the Club on Saturday 10th. Reception extremely helpful throughout the booking and the day. Excellent and speedy service in Dining Room and Christmas meals were delicious. As ever very good value. Our grand daughters and partners thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Happy Christmas to all at the Club
I would just like to say a Big Thank you to Simone and his Team in the Bar Area. Despite it being quite busy they were all very well organised and remained cheerful throughout the afternoon/evening. Simone also has a great way of making people feel at home.
Great family venue
The bar staff were superb and food was good, but the receptionist wasnt very friendly and did come to get clarity on my membership when we were in bar which was fine except I didnt understand why she couldnt do that at reception area. - it was a bit embarrassing
