The party of 13 all enjoyed the meal.  We were also grateful for the private room as we were certainly not the quietest group!

Thanks you for sending out a comments email.  I was about to write a letter of complaint to the Secretary as I was very disappointed with the Service I and my guests received on the 6th December.

The meal was not served on warmed plates, neither were the contents at the  correct temperature.  We all had the fish, which was well cooked, and the sauce was ok too, but several of the potatoes were under cooked.

Unfortunately, our plates were cleared whilst one of the party was still eating.  This showed a lack of training and expertise.

I have been a member for many years and also attend when possible the AGMS.

I was far from happy with the standard of the meal and service.

Please look into this complaint and let me have your response in due course.

Considering how busy the venue was the service was outstanding. My guests commented how quickly the food arrived. Everything was well served and delicious

Another great visit and meal

Goof friendly service and good food for my 7 guests. The Queen Elizabeth Dining Room is the ideal place to enjoy a Christmas get together.

Whilst on this occasion the table I had booked was unoccupied, I still had to do a quick tour of the bar area to find the reserved table. In the past, this has been extremely difficult due to the fact that the reservation is covered up by items belonging to customers already occupying it.  It would be helpful therefore to leave the table number at reception together with a plan of the bar area showing the location of each table.

The meal was excellent, it was busy in the restaurant and the staff coped well, I presume other rooms were in use too, as much as I enjoyed the food I found there was too much for, just my personal opinion as I saw other guests clearing their plates, well done all for good food and service. Thanks

Breakfast good but as it wasn't cheap it seemed mean to charge for filter coffee refills. Could have done without having to watch/listen to CITV children's programmes when no children were present! Visit time shown as 1130 but was actually 0730.

My family met and had drinks downstairs before transferring to the Queen Elizabeth Dining Room to celebrate my mother’s 89th birthday.



My mum and all our family had a wonderful time together which was made special by all the staff from reception to the bar staff and those looking after us in the restaurant.  We all enjoyed the food.
