The Club offers a bistro style casual dining experience in the bar areas of the Club. Members can book tables in advance by using the Club’s membership App, or by clicking the reservations button. In addition to our published menus, we also offer daily specials, please check the specials boards in the bars for the day’s offerings when you next visit.
Private dining, with table service, is available in our function rooms, for which there is an additional room hire charge.
The Club is the perfect venue for banqueting whether for a sit-down meal or a less formal buffet.
The largest room is the main dining room which can accommodates up to 70 people in at theatre-style set up. For more relaxed affairs such as finger buffets or receptions, our spaces can host a maximum of 100 guests. For a sit-down meal or a classroom-style arrangement, the maximum capacity is 65 people. Additionally, there is an adjacent fully stocked bar available for use during meetings/functions.

The food (English breakfast ) was almost cold and bacon was very chewy. Arrived at 10.30 so not late at all. Had much nicer breakfast here a while ago. The waiting staff and reception staff were excellent
The food, staff & event planning were all first rate. Thank you. It made my retirement event, a very special, memorable occasion.
Following a refurbishment of the dining area it was extremely disappointing to have to sit on old uncomfortable furniture with old table and poor finishes. The bed seats in particular are appalling. The main course was poor roasted potatoes not properly cooked at all other vegetables were reasonable turkey portion too small in particular. The selection for a Christmas wine was extremely average There was no person in charge of the dining no wine list offered for review a take or leave it attitude adopted. A very poor experience overall. This is the second occasion when things have been bad at the club ?? Presumably this review is simply lost by the management???
We had a table booking for the bar and I enquired about having a table upstairs so we could have the Christmas menu. The staff involved were so very helpful and arranged for a table for the three of us where we thoroughly enjoyed our food! Many thanks to them ??
Always good at the civil service club. We were disappointed that we could not choose from the other menu especially when another room appeared to have a choice of menu's (Fish & Chips) as an example

Lovely meals and table cleared in time for us. Good service from all staff. It was very busy and crowded so quite loud.

Our party was looked after very well in the bar and in the dining room. Service was first class and friendly with everyone happy with the food.
