Reserved seating for the comedy night would be helpful. Other than that the comedy night was great.

Recommend the comedy nights - went to my first last week and it was great! One request - can a gluten-free option be added to the buffet?

1st class service from both Reception and bar staff. Only downside is now that table service has been dropped due to the relaxation of Covid restrictions, the opportunities for social interaction with the friendly staff are now more limited!

As a new civil servant, this was my first experience and good value would be a fair representation. I do feel the premises is in need of modernisation, but, I do appreciate this is part of its charm.

Initially booked a table outside however the worsened and, following a request, a table was quickly found inside for myself and my fellow team members.



Service was prompt, efficient and polite. Prices are still competitive and I do like the new bar menu. The club really does offer its members value for money.

Disappointed  the table service had been removed from the bar area. Good selection of food all available and well cooked and presented in good portion size.  Wine and glasses excellently presented in bucket with ice.. Very pleasant bar staff. Nice atmosphere..

We have now visited several times and were not disappointed on this visit after the lockdown. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful from reception to the dining room and bar staff.

We were particularly Impressed with the domestic/housekeeping staff. Our room was well stocked with tea and coffee etc and toiletries. We had room service every morning. Thank you.

Food and drink was very good. Really enjoyed the omelettes for breakfast.  We are already looking forward to our next visit.

I would like there to be some non dairy milk for my tea please . Oat milk, soya milk, almond milk or rice milk would all be fine.

The service by the all the staff was excellent very friendly. The food was all hot and of good quality. Although bruise the staff work well and there was space to move around.

However the décor inside the bar area and back restaurant are still looking tired and has been so for many years. During the lockdown could have been a good time to revamp. 

We will still be using the club as always.

Lovely hot sunny date to sit and eat outside in shade. Very quiet compared to Covent Garden which was packed very comfortable. Great first use of the club

A nice friendly place in central London.

A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon spent with friends.  The staff are very attentive.  The price of the food & drinks is very reasonable particularly considering the clubs central London location. 



We always look forward to visiting when in London.

The homemade steak and ale pie was INCREDIBLE!

The staff are always so lovely and sitting outside in the summer is fab.

SUCH an improvement to be able to book a table in advance. Only sorry that the table service has ended - it’s so much more convenient, healthy and makes us much more likely to order more drinks!
