The Club offers a bistro style casual dining experience in the bar areas of the Club. Members can book tables in advance by using the Club’s membership App, or by clicking the reservations button. In addition to our published menus, we also offer daily specials, please check the specials boards in the bars for the day’s offerings when you next visit.
Private dining, with table service, is available in our function rooms, for which there is an additional room hire charge.
The Club is the perfect venue for banqueting whether for a sit-down meal or a less formal buffet.
The largest room is the main dining room which can accommodates up to 70 people in at theatre-style set up. For more relaxed affairs such as finger buffets or receptions, our spaces can host a maximum of 100 guests. For a sit-down meal or a classroom-style arrangement, the maximum capacity is 65 people. Additionally, there is an adjacent fully stocked bar available for use during meetings/functions.

Seating has been nicely refurbished. Friendly staff and a very pleasant evening.
We enjoyed a delicious main meal of salmon which was perfectly cooked to our order & served speedily.
Due to the impact of rail strike,there were few diners in the dining room.
A home from home which the Civil Service should be proud of.
As always I had a lovely time at the CSC. This time with my Son & Daughter as a fathers day treat. we sat outside for early evening drinks in the sun then transferred to the dining room for very nice meals. As always I/we had a 1st class experience from staff looking after us in reception, the bar and when we dinned.
Everyone was very impressed with the service and atmosphere at the club so I wouldn't be surprised if you got a few new members off the back of my booking. Thanks very much, it was great.
Thank you to the staff that made sure our large group had their food more or less at the same time. Praise too to the young waiter who was on his first day.

The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Food was good and lovely big portions but not that much for vegans or veggies who don't want a burger.Steak and ale pie was great and I'm sure there could be a vegan or a veggie version made with mushrooms etc. The bar downstairs needed the carpet brushed - there were bits of food lying on it from previous guests. But again great staff with a friendly great attitude.

Great venue great value for money great service
I find the menu quite limited. I would like to see main course salads. You could do a base salad and then offer the options of say steak, skewers or any main item. Would also like to see a main meat pasta eg a lasagna.
