I’m very hard of hearing so it does get a bit too noisy in the bar for me sometimes. But my friends and I like the atmosphere and it’s a good place geographically  to meet up and linger for a while over a nice lunch. 

The breakfasts look great too but too early in the day for me to partake.

I came for dinner with my two grand-daughters following a trip to the theatre.  The atmosphere was suitable for the girls and the quality of the meal was fabulous.  Service as always, was spot on.

As a recent member of the Club this is the second time I have dined here, this time with my wife and guests.  We had an excellent evening, the staff were friendly and helpful, excellent value for money and an excellent location.

Lovely Sunday lunch and great staff/ service

Table was booked for bar area but ended up in dining area which although i was told is part of the bar area, but  that doesn’t make sense as it is separated by a walkway away from the bar area. 



However, Simone sorted me out with another table . Him and Reuben helpful  as always.



Julie helped me with a separate issue. Your staff should be commended for their friendly and helpful service. One of the reasons I visit CSC on a regular basis.

The ease of making the booking was very good, Because the club was pretty empty when we arrived there wasn't a lot of atmosphere but we didn't mind too much as we were a large group anyway. Food was good, with a lot of choice,  well cooked and very generous portions. The bar service was a bit difficult as the barmaids, though polite and friendly just seemed to find it very hard to understand a straightforward order like a vodka and tonic. I got the impression they were maybe very new and in training? They were, however, trying hard to please and I think when they are more used to the different drinks they will be fine. Value for money was excellent.

It was a very pleasant afternoon.

The food was excellent, with large portions and great value for money.  The staff as always were great and now the seats have all been refurbed it looks great as well.

Staff are very friendly,  the drinks selection was very good. The vegan options on the food menu  could be better.

I don't know their names but the 2 male bar staff working that evening were excellent. Great service, attitude and a real credit to the civil service club. I invited a colleague to meet me and he brought along his assistance dog. The staff looked after all of us equally well.

The staff were all very helpful and efficient and made my stay easy and pleasurable
