The Club offers a bistro style casual dining experience in the bar areas of the Club. Members can book tables in advance by using the Club’s membership App, or by clicking the reservations button. In addition to our published menus, we also offer daily specials, please check the specials boards in the bars for the day’s offerings when you next visit.
Private dining, with table service, is available in our function rooms, for which there is an additional room hire charge.
The Club is the perfect venue for banqueting whether for a sit-down meal or a less formal buffet.
The largest room is the main dining room which can accommodates up to 70 people in at theatre-style set up. For more relaxed affairs such as finger buffets or receptions, our spaces can host a maximum of 100 guests. For a sit-down meal or a classroom-style arrangement, the maximum capacity is 65 people. Additionally, there is an adjacent fully stocked bar available for use during meetings/functions.

Very efficient as always and great value for money. A very tasty Sunday Roast
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Civil Service Club for lunch yesterday. The food is delicious and with generous portion. The staff are helpful and polite.

Lovely to be in the Elizabeth Room again. The Bass was lovely.
Despite the Club being very busy the staff, both in the Reception area and Bar, were as jovial and as helpful as ever.

Would prefer no piped music in the bar area. Makes chatting more difficult and, in my view, adds nothing to the atmosphere.

Seats reserved as requested, bar service excellent,food order arrived piping hot and a generous amount - all 6 diners commented on that point. Bar area nicely redecorated and very comfortable. Really good lunchtime dining experience for a moderate price. Top marks.
Pleasant and efficient service, reasonably priced, would though like to see the restaurant open for lunchtimes again. That was the main reason I became a member and have made far fewer visits since that became unavailable.
Enjoyed Sunday Lunch staff very polite and service was excellent.
I visited with two friends for a meal having reserved a table for 5pm last Sunday. There was no reserved sign on the table but fortunately the party occupying were about to leave at the time we arrived. We all enjoyed a Sunday roast which was served quickly by a member of a young and enthusiastic staff. The only issue being that the main course came along with the starter. This has happened on a few other occasions so I think a little bit of retraining could be in order.
