The Club offers a bistro style casual dining experience in the bar areas of the Club. Members can book tables in advance by using the Club’s membership App, or by clicking the reservations button. In addition to our published menus, we also offer daily specials, please check the specials boards in the bars for the day’s offerings when you next visit.
Private dining, with table service, is available in our function rooms, for which there is an additional room hire charge.
The Club is the perfect venue for banqueting whether for a sit-down meal or a less formal buffet.
The largest room is the main dining room which can accommodates up to 70 people in at theatre-style set up. For more relaxed affairs such as finger buffets or receptions, our spaces can host a maximum of 100 guests. For a sit-down meal or a classroom-style arrangement, the maximum capacity is 65 people. Additionally, there is an adjacent fully stocked bar available for use during meetings/functions.

Reliably excellent.
Excellent in every respect as usual. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed both the meal and the dining experience. Great value for money. Thank you.
Very nice sandwiches, salad, crisps and drink. Served promptly. Just renewed my club membership for another year.
Great night as always
Great service and value
Lovely as always
Recent refurbishment of bar area has improved the atmosphere / ambience and together with the excellently customer-orientated staff and good food (at very reasonable prices) gives this a 5-star rating.
The bar and television room were VERY VERY noisy and that really spoiled the occasion. I would much preferred to have been able to eat in the restaurant. The "app" on my iPhone is really complicated and difficult to use. Can you explain why it doesn't remember me and I have to log in every time I visit the Civil Service Club. It really needs a PRINTED instruction manual.
Prices have jumped to market rates
Felt well looked after
Bar staff are nice and friendly.
Good traditional cooking, really caring and attentive staff, a pleasure to have lunch. Great value for money. The normal and special menu's are varied and to all tastes.
I and a colleague had booked lunch in the Queen Elizabeth dining room but were very disappointed to see the limited menu. Spam fritters as a starter and fruit salad with cream were two of the very poor choices on offer. Bizarrely we were told that we couldnt order from the usual menu so went down to the bar area to do so. Clearly the kitchen staff were turning out plenty of varied meals downstairs so I do not understand why the same staff could not provide for those in the dining room. The menu for the dining room was awful. OK it was cheap but I would have paid the £15 NOT to have to eat it. Having reasonable meals in the dining room used to be one of the primary reasons for taking out membership. Sadly, standards have fallen and Ill think twice before renewing membership next year.
Food is always hot and beautifully cooked. The staff are friendly and professional. The dinning room is a bit old fashioned but very comfortable.
Great service as always and excellent value for money.
As always the staff were great. Good to see the club in full swing. If possible could the door from the bar to the beer garden be automatic open and close or self closing. In winter a cold wind when it is left open. Also when both hands are in use, backing up to the door could spill your beer.....(LOL)
Only in for drinks last evening, but as a new member I am pleased to have joined a club with such a friendly atmosphere and great value for money!
Amiable, helpful and professional staff
An excellent Central London venue, with very competitive prices for food and drinks. A great pub atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff, wide choice of drinks and a fairly comprehensive food menu to boot!
First visit for food and it was very good. Quick service and friendly staff. Thank you.
