The Club offers a bistro style casual dining experience in the bar areas of the Club. Members can book tables in advance by using the Club’s membership App, or by clicking the reservations button. In addition to our published menus, we also offer daily specials, please check the specials boards in the bars for the day’s offerings when you next visit.
Private dining, with table service, is available in our function rooms, for which there is an additional room hire charge.
The Club is the perfect venue for banqueting whether for a sit-down meal or a less formal buffet.
The largest room is the main dining room which can accommodates up to 70 people in at theatre-style set up. For more relaxed affairs such as finger buffets or receptions, our spaces can host a maximum of 100 guests. For a sit-down meal or a classroom-style arrangement, the maximum capacity is 65 people. Additionally, there is an adjacent fully stocked bar available for use during meetings/functions.

I booked a table in the TV room so that I could watch the football. When I arrived my table was reserved as requested. I down loaded the Civil Service club app onto my phone but had problems logging in, however, the receptionist sorted it out for me quickly and I was able to log in. She also explained how to use it. I was surprised but delighted that I had £15 worth of reward vouchers to use that I didn't know about so that unexpectedly reduced my bill. I had roast lamb dinner and my wife had roast beef. The food was nice although the meat was not as tender as we both would have liked. We had apple crumble and custard for dessert which was delicious. Bar staff were helpful. Other customers were friendly.

The menu has not changed in last 2 or 3 years, rather boring. Not much which does not include chips. Soup of the day would be good. I had sea bass and new potatoes, nice. Friend not impressed with chicken curry and rice. That said service is fast and prices cheap.

Hello, I along with my guests found the whole experience very enjoyable. The food was excellent in it's taste and very good value for money. I will definitely be booking again in March, date to be arranged as the R. M.T. are holding further industrial action.

I booked online for this meal and the process was very quick and straightforward. The food was good and tasty and the portions generous. As always the service was friendly and efficient which allowed us to get to the theatre on time.
