The Club offers a bistro style casual dining experience in the bar areas of the Club. Members can book tables in advance by using the Club’s membership App, or by clicking the reservations button. In addition to our published menus, we also offer daily specials, please check the specials boards in the bars for the day’s offerings when you next visit.
Private dining, with table service, is available in our function rooms, for which there is an additional room hire charge.
The Club is the perfect venue for banqueting whether for a sit-down meal or a less formal buffet.
The largest room is the main dining room which can accommodates up to 70 people in at theatre-style set up. For more relaxed affairs such as finger buffets or receptions, our spaces can host a maximum of 100 guests. For a sit-down meal or a classroom-style arrangement, the maximum capacity is 65 people. Additionally, there is an adjacent fully stocked bar available for use during meetings/functions.

Everything was great!!
Booking has been so much better in recent months and the only reason for marking down the atmosphere was because the place was half empty because of the rail strike.
Reception staff, particularly Ewelina, were very pleasant and helpful in directing folk to my reserved table in the bar area, as well as making a reservation for a future visit,

Good service in a friendly atmosphere. we all thought the food was good value for money. We hope that the restaurant area could be re-opened as this used to be so good.
Its worth considering adding baby changing facilities in the disabled toilets. I brought my granddaughter to the club and we had no facilities available to change her nappy

Fantastic place for a drink or meal. Sunday roasts are great!! I have not sat upstairs in a while, so noticed the new chairs, tablecloths. Wonderful.
This was my first visit to the Civil Service Club, and although the interior is bit dated, I did enjoy the experience. The food was very good value and quality, with a good team working there.
