Very efficient as always and great value for money. A very tasty Sunday Roast

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Civil Service Club for lunch yesterday. The food is delicious and with generous portion. The staff are helpful and polite.

Always the staff are great.

My guests loved it and would join if they were eligible.

Perfect as always. Had 4 friends with me, coming for the first time.  They loved the club, very impressed with the staff,  service and price!

Lovely to be in the Elizabeth Room again. The Bass was lovely.

Despite the Club being very busy the staff, both in the Reception area and Bar, were as jovial and as helpful as ever.

Thank you for hosting my walking group with the usual welcoming atmosphere.

My group always enjoy the club and look forward to walks that end here.

Fabulous bar and reception staff, always friendly and helpful. Great value. No wonder booking is now almost essential.

Would prefer no piped music in the bar area. Makes chatting more difficult and, in my view, adds nothing to the atmosphere.

Seats reserved as requested, bar service excellent,food order arrived piping hot and a generous amount - all 6 diners commented on that point. Bar area nicely redecorated and very comfortable. Really good lunchtime dining experience for a moderate price. Top marks.

Pleasant and efficient service, reasonably priced, would though like to see the restaurant open for lunchtimes again. That was the main reason I became a member and have made far fewer visits since that became unavailable.

Enjoyed Sunday Lunch staff very polite and service was excellent.

I visited with two friends for a meal having reserved a

table for 5pm last Sunday. There was no reserved sign on the table but fortunately the party occupying were about to leave at the time we arrived. We all enjoyed a Sunday roast which was served quickly by a member of a young and enthusiastic staff. The only issue being that the main course came along with the starter. This has happened on a few other occasions so I think a little bit of retraining could be in order.
