The Club offers a bistro style casual dining experience in the bar areas of the Club. Members can book tables in advance by using the Club’s membership App, or by clicking the reservations button. In addition to our published menus, we also offer daily specials, please check the specials boards in the bars for the day’s offerings when you next visit.
Private dining, with table service, is available in our function rooms, for which there is an additional room hire charge.
The Club is the perfect venue for banqueting whether for a sit-down meal or a less formal buffet.
The largest room is the main dining room which can accommodates up to 70 people in at theatre-style set up. For more relaxed affairs such as finger buffets or receptions, our spaces can host a maximum of 100 guests. For a sit-down meal or a classroom-style arrangement, the maximum capacity is 65 people. Additionally, there is an adjacent fully stocked bar available for use during meetings/functions.
If you wish further information, or to discuss private dining or banqueting, please see our Functions page or contact the Functions Manager

Booked table in the TV room to watch the football. I was told the sound had to be turned off as someone else in the room didnt want to listen. After a while of a bizarre experience of watching football with no sound, another patron complained and the sound was turned up. Some constructive feedback; sometimes one wishes to watch the football, as its in the TV room then those watching should have preference. If patrons want a quiet room with no atmosphere perhaps they should go upstairs ? Other than evening being slighty spoiled, we enjoyed the food.
This visit by my group was not as usual. If everyone had turned up our booked table was too small. I realise Wednesday was very busy but it took an hour for our food to arrive (excellent quality as usual). We were not the only group perplexed by the table booking layouts I noticed.
Very busy food wait was long. Food very good. Staff did their best under the circumstances Not their fault.
Very clean and food was superb! S5aff very friendly and really helpful, will definitely be back again when in London.
The CSC is excellent value for money and we enjoyed a hearty meal and a pint. As relatively new members, we have made good use of the club so far. I hope that the addition of a second bar (upstairs) means that the ground floor becomes a little less crowded. However, it is a great atmosphere with great staff so I have no complaints! Look forward to coming again soon.
Great. Our grandsons enjoyed it as much as we did

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch We agreed that the service and the food are consistently excellent, great value and the best since I have been a member. Still enoying exploring the new and expanded menu and range of options Thank you and appreciated Paul Taylor and the team.
Like the change on the menu and having a specials board.
Back again. Never disappointed
The Food good but menu is a samey
Great place to meet old friends and ideally situated in the very centre of the city.
Excellent service, quality product, and comfortable surroundings.
This is our go-to stay when visiting London. Excellent accommodation and food. Ideal central location with easy transport links to places of interest. Reduces stress travelling from Devon to Heathrow or Gatwick. Couple of nights catching up with the city before a quick Express train on the flight day. Perfect!
We had Sunday lunch upstairs for the first time. Which we found more comfortable than eating in the main bar downstairs. Can't wait until the upstairs bar refurbishment is completed, which will I believe greatly enhance the experience.
