The Club offers a bistro style casual dining experience in the bar areas of the Club. Members can book tables in advance by using the Club’s membership App, or by clicking the reservations button. In addition to our published menus, we also offer daily specials, please check the specials boards in the bars for the day’s offerings when you next visit.
Private dining, with table service, is available in our function rooms, for which there is an additional room hire charge.
The Club is the perfect venue for banqueting whether for a sit-down meal or a less formal buffet.
The largest room is the main dining room which can accommodates up to 70 people in at theatre-style set up. For more relaxed affairs such as finger buffets or receptions, our spaces can host a maximum of 100 guests. For a sit-down meal or a classroom-style arrangement, the maximum capacity is 65 people. Additionally, there is an adjacent fully stocked bar available for use during meetings/functions.

Staff always helpful and professional. Meals are very variable, always enjoy visit overall though. Great location, convenient and reassuring that you can book snd feel safe. The outdoor courtyard is a real plus.

The service was slow which was frustrating because we could not order from the bar as it was table service only. Waited upto 15 minutes to be served to order drinks. Very disappointing.

My ploughmans was not that good, stale bread snd fatty ham, but I enjoyed being out with my friend and always enjoy coming to the club. The waiting staff are excellent

A very nice afternoon spent at the club catching up with friends. The service was friendly & very professional. The food was ok but could be better. I had the fish & chips, it was dried up & nowhere as nice as last time I ordered it. However, my two guests enjoyed their meals. The outside area is nice & dog friendly.. Overall, we had a fabulous afternoon at the Civil Service Club. We look forward to our next visit. .

Excellent as always, friendly service, good beer and nice food. All at a cost far cheaper than would get in a pub nearby. Went with a few friends whom are non-members and are now all thinking of joining. .
